Have Opinions on Evansville? Let Them Be Heard (updated)

I hear all the time from neighbors who have brilliant ideas for the community, but have no idea with whom to share them. This week offers all local residents the chance to speak up for change.

Tonight Mayor Winnecke is hosting a Community Conversation at Fairlawn Elementary, starting at 5:30 p.m. Anyone who has attended one can verify that Mayor Winnecke is always willing to lend an ear to those with ideas for positive growth in Evansville. He plans on sharing his ideas, as well as those of other community leaders. Be sure to check it out!

Tuesday is the City Core meeting for Evansville VOICE. The event is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the Carriage House, which is located at the Reitz Home Museum (another piece of local history that I highly recommend visiting). The VOICE meetings are always interactive and no idea is too small or silly. Every voice spoken is heard and noted. The group is constantly growing and sponsoring local events, such as pop-up shops, scavenger hunts, community gardens and more. Add this one to your calendar!

For more information on either event or anything Evansville related, please contact me. I am happy to help. If I don’t know the answer, I can contact you with someone who can help.

Would love to hear any and all thoughts!
